Hey ,I wanted to know what language is CLEO based on? Like PAWN is based on C++ syntax.I mean I went to a few c++ classes to learn it's basics that's how I understood PAWN and how I started scripting.

Sorry if it's the wrong board to post the topic, Ido where to post it..

First versions of SB and CLEO were written in Delphi, so the coding/syntax used in SB resembles that of Delphi.

"Learning" CLEO is a dumb thing todo in the current time, sure it's fast but it won't take you further (you're basically stuck to gta).
Go and learn a proper "language", even with VB.NET you can do more stuff.
Go ahead with C# and C p:

Yeah you are 100 percent right.I will be stuck to GTA (same thing with PAWN).
I was only interested cause if will be fun to make your own mods.

Now more importantly, I did a bit of googling and I saw that learning VB is not really useful.I mean it will be much more learning Java then cause it is used in app development etc. Also its syntax is similar to C ++ ,since I know c++ I guess it will be easier.

So what do you think?I want a second opinion.
