Help nospread.cs not working

Can someone help me? My nospread.cs isn't working. I've tried 'spread' and 'nospread' in game (typing it out as a cheat) but it won't activate. I have other cleo's installed and i'm not sure what the problem is. I'll be happy to post more details about what else is installed.
