UG in UG-Base stands for "Underground" meaning that this is Underground Base.

But, 0x688 considers this name gay (I don't think that names can have sexual orientation but sure...) and he doesn't like anything homosexual (gay) - so if you use UNDERGROUND instead of UG  he gets pissed.
