Why use cleo?

It is a really good question, and i don't think there is a good answer for it...

So why use Cleo in an online game?, yeah sure we can use it on the offline game, but on an online game it's not garanted that it is gonna live forever..., i'm sure after few updates kye will figure out a way to remove the use of cleos once and for all..., so it is not a really stable way of creating hacks

Also there is hundreds and hundreds of cheats nowadays made on cleos.. some of them took a long time to be created and developped, while other cheats such as s0beit-based cheats are still alive now adays, 0x688 s0beit, hax s0beit and s0nictz's etc.., so when kye finally desides to remove or block the use of cleos all these hundreds of cleos will not be useful anymore.

so i really highly recommend to start coding hacks on C++ or VB or anything stable, show all your creativities by learning these programming languages, then you won't be limited when creating a cheat like when using cleo. to make cheats there are limits (not all functions are included,samp functions are included from the exterior...) But yeah it isn't easy, we code in cleo nowadays because it is easy, but it is a mark of laziness, "Oh i'm not gonna code on C++ because i have to reverse engineer and create my own functions, fuck it i'ma be lazy and use cleo" and yeah if you have a question or an answer or something just feel free to post

I think Kye might start with s0beit but some servers have dealt with that with the bug with camera but that idea was cracked with a simple NOP. yeah he could do it to cleo but i think FYP or someone will fix it by changing something. Like Everyone thought R1-2 was the massive Fix and some servers dis allow R1 taking advantage of R1-2 but Of course FYP made a fake version anyway cleo is fine its kinda partnered with s0beit well if you have samp functions because there is read_samp_memory opcode so like you can get the address from s0beit and put that into cleo you can have s0beit stuff i dont know if you need s0beit though. but C++ is pretty cool but Cleo auto loads instead of loading all the C++ stuff but you might prefer C++ AND C# or whatever cleo is pretty crap on its own but with cleo plugin's its better

There is 3 modules loaded when gta_sa.exe starts, these modules are the one who load the cs files in memory

S0beit and programmed hacks will never get patched, whenever there is a patch there is going to be a bypass.

When in the other side cleo is already coded and we don't have the right to edit its source code. But ofcourse we can create emulators or patchs that is going to bypass the anti-cleos. But why use all that shit when you have s0b?

Also it was a good idea to add samp functions on cleos but yeah it is not a stable way of creating hacks really not stable...

What's to tell he couldn't remove it as of 0.3x release? There's no major reason to patch cleo, yeah.. people use it to hack but they are more mods for game enchantment and graphic also that use CLEO.

I think similary like you T3K, I'am learning currently C# and after i completed a Project i'am more happy then when i created a Cleo file cause you must do much more in C# then in Cleo ^^
Cleo is cool but i think it has no future ^^

cleo run's on gta opcode's which are used for some cut scenes and mission's C# and C++ you can do all you like like the silent aimbot dont think thats possible with cleo

They won't get pissed because he could make it to be either enabled or disabled via the server's rules.

The server would chose either to enable cleo mods or disable them. and that's also better.

And i'm sure most of the servers will dislike the idea to enable cleo mods, most of them cops and robbers, somo servers, mini missions etc... only some of the stunt servers would require cleo, but Also i don't think they will want to use cleo on their servers because they can do anything using pawno, gamemode scripting.

This thread should be a sticky, people need to learn how to code, not only cleo, but it's a good way to start and get known around coding, you guys just can't wait till someone like FYP patch something or anyone else, what will happend when they' get bored of SAMP and quit? ofcourse no one will code anything.

As for what Tek said it's actually true, also MTA has an awesome protection againts cheats, if they could do it why Kyw can't do the same? The SAMP team will eventually reach the stage of banning s0beit and any 3rd party program that's a fact.

Legit play... yyeeeh. But if you were planning to script a cheat for example, you would need it. For example, If i had C# experience with same level as my cleo knowledge, i would make the cheats in .exe instead. But since cleo is easy to learn and still available to use in servers for now, most of the people like me just use the easy way, and they just use the cleo instead, without even thinking of what might happen in the future.

If cleo gets restricted one day, i will probably leave everything here, im too old for this shit, i mean, i should have started on these stuffs like at the age of 16, not 20. So, still on cleo till they find a way to completely block :lol: :lol::lol:

But ye, if i were you, i would start learning C# as soon as possible, especially if i was planning to script something in the future.

yes thats sure but for Simple trainer etc. its enough^^
Currently i work on a InGame Handling Editor and Release it later ^^

T3K is right, Cleo suxx.
and is a scripting useless thing to learn since is very restricted.
programming languages(like C++) has infinite usage, you can apply at any other gaming platform(software dev, and so on....), once you understand it, it becomes very very useful. A good sample of what a real programming language(C++) can do is "sampfuncs", that extends the usage of the limited and unstable cleo by itself.

But unfortunately this is all i can do, i mean i can post some tutorials about basic things like Pointers, Variable Types, Loops, etc but that wouldn't be enough  hgodwhy:

Like, a basic dll attaching snippet for people that want to start writing their own ASI plugins etc.
