s0nictz project; how to save startup settings?

If i modify some settings on the menu when i quit the game and rejoin it didnt save my settings, how can i save it?
I know in .cfg file u can modify some startup settings but not all.
There is anyway to add manually the settings i want on the startup to the .cfg file?

then edit d3d9.dll

btw i have no idea how to edit that file
