Ok I want to make a good intro for my youtube channel but I don't know what software to use to make a good intro. I have tried adobe after effects but I can only make one of those annoying intros used by every gamer. Does anyone know any good software or how to make a good simple intro. I would class Opcodexe's intro as a good one.

If you have not seen his intro.

it's about 3 seconds long does anyone know what software or how to make an intro like that?

I used Vegas Pro 12.0 for that intro.
What i did:

found a nice font
wrote down "Opcode e" in yellow,
wrote down "X" in red,
placed it between "e e"
added a tv simulator effect on the X so it moves through the screen and stops when the music changes
added a little tv simulator effect on everything
synchronized the video with the music
bla bla done

I did but it just comes up with rubbish intros that just have some lense flare or is just a stupid gamers dubstep intro preset.
