wtf, if you read "SobFoX" on a thread your fucking punk ass start get on fire to say shit, you are just jealous bcuz these people are better than you, you cant do good scripts like SobFoX and Parazitas do, thats why you are jealous or there is another reason to you be a asshole for no reason?

as much as i don't like what sobfox did in the past (sending info with his s0beit and that) he is pretty much active and helping people, that's nice

Parazitas is a "super-moderator" for some time now, these names don't say anything as permissions get assigned individually since forever. Admins don't exist (don't get me wrong they actually do) but for ugbase it's more of a "owner?" kind of thing not even my account has full permissions and Parazitas should have enough permissions to act on anything he'd like.
Frankly I think I've been assigning / asking the right people to moderate IF I asked someone.. dont wanna sound cocky but usually I don't listen to recommendations. There are just a few traits you need imo and even then it's a miracle if this person actually has the free time or motiviation to moderate "a dying medium like forums". about moderators: In the past I've been asking people I think they may fit but didn't get a positive response, that's why it no one ever joined after Parazitas. Oh and I read about monday idk I asked him back then iirc.
Generally you would've been right with your topic but I don't know if we actually need more mods or other rules and definitely a different mindset about mod releases. I hear you I'm inactive, releases idle long time and the forums are generally in a dying state, but at the same time -after a specific time in life- you have to think about ROI don't get me wrong it's not about profits but we're just keeping it alive as is and ugbase is in the negatives, since forever, since I didn't care and still don't. But this also means I can't invest that much time and as a hobby the community got to spicy and samp boring.
Anyway as we should improve I'll definitely think about it and listen to feedback. I however rather shutdown ugbase than breaking a) "the principles ugbase follows since forever e.g. neutrality, no censoring, no harmful/ill intend, weird pay shit that doesn't get u shit" b) being overly sensitive.
I see it as a dying forum of a dead game since quite a long time, I mean at this point why would you care to get moderator or any rank at all, help or post content if you want and don't expect anything in return, even keeping ugbase for historical reasons has been hard, literally 99% of old links redirect you to a non-working post. A thing that was fun to have which was a shoutbox and kind of created a "community" got removed when 0x upgraded Xenforo. We have had bots spamming dating shit since months and nothing has been done too. It's understandable that you don't have any sort of motivation anymore, obviously, so leave it as is and let's see, it's a matter of time anyway. I don't really see why this is so important at all too.
To add, re-reading what I sent may sound too dramatic or even disrespectful when it's not like that, I'm insanely happy and grateful to 0x, springfield, opi, th3rm4l, xzytro, parazitas, 0b36, blackhat, monday (sorry if i missed some of you) and basically everybody that has been helpful and contributed to the scene in any way possible. It's just what it is.

You're simply right. I'm for myself really sad about broken links, the content is there but u have to search it, we had migration scripts running and they worked but due to serve issues with google I had to bend down like a little bitch to not get banned for life (apparently something w/ it broke google tos and they basically forced me to remove it they didn't tell me whats wrong), and well we still get misses.
Forums in general are "dying" if you listen to most people nowadays (or it may be my bubble?) but I'm still pro forums to gather and share information - this way everyone in the future can benefit from it and access knowledge - not like the current movement of gatekept discord channels or mass removed messages/lost memories or knowledge if you got banned or one of your favorite servers.
Anyway let's just not waste time I'll see this topic as a chance for honest feedback, like yours @Hidend. I already did some restructuring to manage forums easier a few months ago I'll try to finish this + implement possible feedback.
